Everyone's Alive
03:47
|
|||
I was on a joy ride last night in the city
with my music playing on the radio
My top was down and everyone was lookin’
One girl flashed a smile and one guy yelled “right on”
Everyone's alive... On the avenue
Everyone's alive. Neon lights
Everyone's alive. Suits and high heel shoes
Everyone's alive. A-li-ive
Everyone's alive... In a fast car
Everyone's alive... On a roof top
Everyone's alive. A-li-ive
I hear the siren's ring and the lights are flashing
A cop stopped me and told me I was movin’ too slow
I pumped up the volume, I looked but I said nothing
He listened for a minute, smiled, and then he let me go
Everyone's alive... On the avenue
Everyone's alive. Neon lights
Everyone's alive. Suits and high heel shoes
Everyone's alive. Everyone’s alive
Driving home in the morn, the sunrise now is peakin'
Downtown is dead, the buildings all alone
I was driving out of town, I noticed cars were parkin'
Everyone is still alive, the party moved uptown
Everyone's alive... On the avenue
Everyone's alive. Neon lights
Everyone's alive. Suits and high heel shoes
Everyone's alive. A-li-ive
Everyone's alive... In a fast car
Everyone's alive... On a roof top
Everyone's alive. A-li-ive
Everyone's alive
Everyone's alive
On the avenue
Neon lights
Suits and high heel shoes
In a fast car. On a roof top
Everyone's alive. Everyone's alive

Move Your Dance Bone
04:03
|
|||
This is where it's happening here all day
Let yourself move, it's time to play
This is a tune that's on my list
Called Move Your Dance Bone it goes like this
Movin' to the other side, so we may as well dance
You ever had a dream? Then you wake up
Come on
Move your dance bone. Bustin' high or low
Move your dance bone. High or low
If you think you know what the meaning is…
If you think you know
Clean your dirty mind…
Clean your dirty mind I’m just singin’
Innocent anatomy
Move your dance bone. Move your dance bone
Move your dance bone, and you won't be alone
Move your dance bone
Change the pace. Win the race
Now, I wanna sing another song
It's called the bone song. Yeah, you've sang this before
You can try to sing along, but you may not remember it this way
It goes like this
My foot bone's connected to my leg bone
My leg bone's connected to my hip bone
My hip bone's connected to my back bone
My back bone's connected to my dance, dance bone
Move your dance bone. Move your dance bone.
Move your dance bone

Somebody's Lips
04:12
|
|||
Someone calls. Calling back to get you off the wall
A voice on the line. The lips are so sincere
And somebody's eyes are watchin’ everything you do
Maybe it's time to call her, tell her you're watching too
Somebody's lips are talkin’, telling you the truth
If you feel it's time to call her, tell her you believe it's true
Someone calls. A voice of the past to give you hope
A voice on the line. The lips so very clear
Somebody's lips are talkin’, telling you the truth
If you feel it's time to call her, tell her you believe it's true
Somebody's eyes are watchin’ everything that you do
Maybe it's time to call him, tell him you're watching too
Somebody's lips are talkin’, telling you the truth
If you feel it's time to call her, tell her you believe it's true
Somebody's lips, somebody’s lips are talkin'

Street & Uptown Love
03:41
|
|||
Street people get together. Uptown people come together
It's all for your love. Give it all for our love of good
Street people make it matter
Uptown people make it better
All you people
It's all for your love. Give it all for our love of good
It's all for your love. Give it all for our love of good
Feel the never ending love. Feel that everlasting love of good
Street people every evening
make it matter, what you believe in
Uptown people every morning
make it better, what you're seein’
Hold on. What you’re seein’
It's all for your love. Give it all for our love of good
Feel the never ending love. Feel that everlasting love of good
Feel the never ending love. Feel that everlasting love of good
Street people get together. Uptown people come together
Feel the never ending love. Feel that everlasting love of good
Feel the never ending love. Feel that everlasting love of good

I can't tell you where I'll be tonight. But I'm sure that I'll be alone tonight
So now that you know you won't be seeing me
Will you try to ask them about me?
Do you, can you, will you… ever think of me?
You're mistaking. It's not your heart that's breaking
So tell me how you'd still love me now
I hear that whistle calling for me. My train is leaving for the city
So tell me how you'd still love me now. Now
Do you, can you, will you… ever think of me?
I can't lie to you, and say to you-- No, I can't tell you that I ever loved you
So tell me. So tell me how you'd still love me now. Now
No, I can't tell you that I ever loved you

Empty Future
03:46
|
|||
It's the right time for me now, cause I don't feel the pain
I don't have to fear if I don't think about the future
I've been assigned a role to play as a person to create
A marked light in a darkened time is how I should have stayed
I've not been good at staying in character as they say
It's the right time for me now, cause I don't feel the pain
I don't have to fear if I don't think about the future
Nothing can hurt me now. I'm still dry in the rain
I won't have to bear a time in a lost and empty future
Years of climbing to the sky but coming short to fall
All I've said and all I've done hasn't gotten me very far
What was all this for when no one sees the shining stars
Empty future
It's the right time for me now, cause I don't feel the pain
I don't have to fear if I don't think about the future
Nothing can hurt me now. I'm still dry in the rain
I won't have to bear a time in a lost and empty future
Nothing can hurt me now. I'm still dry in the rain
I won't have to bear a time in a lost and empty future

Good Enough
03:55
|
|||
Good enough. Nothin’s in your way
Good enough. Nothin’s in your way
Hard enough in everything you say
Tough enough for whoever’s after you
Good enough when you’re tough
You turn it on when it’s time to play
You get it on, it’s your time today
It don’t matter who stops… you keep it going
Who’s better than you?
Remind yourself, you know that you are…
Good enough. Nothin’s in your way.
Hard enough in everything you say
Tough enough for whoever’s after you.
Good enough. Hard enough
Get enough. Gotta get your pay.
Slick enough. Look the part you play
Tough enough for whoever’s after you.
Good enough when you’re tough
You’re only you
You don’t give up, your passion is true
You’re always up, you’re one of the few
It don’t matter who stops
You know the way to make it happen
You’ll get your way. You know how to stack ‘em
You’re good enough. Nothin’s in your way
Hard enough in everything you say
Tough enough for whoever’s after you
Good enough when you’re tough
You’re only you
Get enough. Gotta get your pay
Slick enough. Look the part you play
Tough enough for whoever’s after you
Good enough when you’re tough
You’re only you
Good enough. Hard enough.
Tough enough. Good enough.
Hard enough
You’re only you. You’re only you. You’re only you

Emulate
03:47
|

Workin’ in the studio scratchin’ a beat
when a voice from the back started calling for me
I turned around fast to see who it was
My big blue machine, I knew it because
The lights were lit, the power was true
Who else could it be but my Emulator II?
Searching my disk, but not just one
This machine has two drives to run
To run the sounds that are in my mind
and on the floppy disks that go inside
Running two drives at the same time
to make the instrumental to back this rhyme
EMU factory disks are great
and so are the ones that you create
A drum, a string, a horn, a bass
512 kilobytes of memory space
So if you wanna know who made this tune
it’s cut from yours truly and my Emulator II
Emulate
Some of you might think I’m goin’ too far
and that I should be singin’ about a guitar
But need I remind you of what we are?
The Emulator II teamed with Adrian Star
1984 & 85, these are the years that brought alive
EMU II in the first, then the II+ to quench your thirst
For synthesizer greatness that you crave
not just for the sound but the sampling rate
You’d be best served if you just let it create
You can even sample sounds from the Jupiter 8
Emulate
No single synth has had more hits
than the Emulator II, I can guarantee this
Where would I be without my partner in crime?
Using soft synths like a poser in decline
So before you assume I hooked her up to a Mac
And programmed the parts to record the playback
I didn’t do that, my integrity stands
I still play the keys in real time with my hands
Never before has a cut been made
about the Emulator II and what it can say
No presets built on this thing
Use a floppy disk to make it sing
If you can’t handle what it brings
just fake everything like it was 2016
Now… though my second album might be causing a fuss
My third and next album will be called the II+
Now everyone knows and they won’t soon forget
But you haven’t heard anything yet

Back To Back
04:24
|
|||
Face to face
Back to back we talk. No look. Turned away
Back to back we walk. Two ways. Not the same
I don't desire this house of empty halls
It's my desire to prevent the fall
Back to back we saw a time when we could play
and back to back we crawl, back to back
I don't desire this time of empty halls
It's my desire to prevent the fall
I'll light the fire. A flame to start it all
A life of higher reason for the cause
I’ll light the fire… face to face
Face to face
It's my desire
Back to back we know we'll never be the same
and Face to face we know we'll never play the game, now
I don't desire this house of empty halls
It's my desire to prevent the fall
I'll light the fire. A flame to start it all
A life of higher reason for the cause
It’s my desire
Face to face
It’s my desire… face to face
I’ll light the fire
Face to face

Jason Mysteria Phoenix, Arizona
Jason Mysteria is a 1980's anachronism in music. His synth-pop sound is influenced heavily by genres of the 80's such as New Wave, Top 40 Pop, and R&B Dance. He uses vintage synthesizers & older recording equipment to achieve his signature sound. He does not use "soft synths" (software based virtual instruments). He plays his instruments in real time & does not utilize auto-tune vocal technology. ... more
