Lately 03:57
I don't believe what they say when they say that a distance is better for a love for two I don't believe that it's true I can feel a high as of lately when I say hello to you But I feel emotional lately when I say goodbye to you Now, if a time should come when you need to clear your mind and it seems that it's better for me and you It would be better for whom? (yeah) I can feel a high as of lately when I say hello to you But I'm feeling emotional lately when I say goodbye to you (and) If I close my eyes and think of the way I am when I am around you I get high and emotional lately everytime you fall out of view Of view (now) I don't believe what they say when they say that time apart is better for a love for two No, I don't believe that it's true (and) If a time should come when you need to clear your mind and it seems that it's the best thing for me and you No, I don't believe that that's true (yeah) I can feel a high as of lately when I say hello to you But I'm feeling emotional lately when I say goodbye to you (and) If I close my eyes and think of the way I am when I am around you I get high and emotional lately everytime you fall out of view A view -- of you

I'm not in love, so give it up You're not in love, but you don't give up It's your fantasy, (but) you don't live here anymore Baby can't you see there's no room for you anymore? (and) Everytime you come and knock on my door It's just your fantasy, there's no answer at the door You imagine me calling you to stay the night You say you hear me, but I don't cry for you in the night You're not in love, but you won't give up I'm not in love, so give it up -- give it up You're not in love (so give it up) You're not in love (I'm not in love) Seasons change and after the rain the feeling still remains You're back again after all this time imagining the pain You're not in love It's your fantasy, but you don't live here anymore Baby can't you see that there's no room for you anymore? (and) Everytime you come and knock on my door It's just your fantasy, there's no answer at the door You're not in love (so give it up) I'm not in love You're not in love, but you won't give up I'm not in love, so give it up

Put on your shoes and come outside There's too much sadness on your mind You can call me when your pain comes again And I'll be there whether sunshine or rain Get off that ledge and come back down Don't waste this new life that you've found No gun, no drug is the way to scare the pain And I'll lift you higher than a bridge. We'll stand Listen to my song, forget all that's wrong I can carry you whenever you're not strong Everyday I'll be by your side But today I wanna see that light in your eyes Yaaaaaaay And I'll lift you higher than a bridge. We'll stand Today I wanna see that light in your eyes Put on your shoes and come outside

On The Run 03:59
I wake up to the sound of the radio The closet is empty and now I know I look at your picture as it fades away But I never thought today would be that day You're on the run again. You've been since we began You're on the run again. You're running Where I'm going. What I'm feeling. A mirage of love 2,000 miles, I still haven't found you They say I should stop but I'm in hot pursuit Where did you go? I wonder where you are Searching with my car, I've driven so far You're on the run again. You've been since we began You're on the run again. You're running and running You're on the run again. You've been since we began You're on the run again. You're running. You're running 2,000 miles, I still haven't found you You're on the run again Where did you go? I wonder where you are You're on the run again Searching with my car, I've driven so far You're running A mirage of love. A mirage of love

Funky Ca$h 03:49
Get your money talkin' Gimme that funky cash From East River to the Hudson, money is everywhere Street deals or the high rise, it spends the same out there Just what you expect, those ladies with mink who write big checks You don't fake rich, you find your niche, you know it's 1986 Get your money talkin', or get to walkin' It's the latest fashion, flash that funky cash Get your dollars flexin', flex that funky cash Don't matter how you're gettin' it You don't fake rich, you find your niche From Central Park to Battery Park, you see it everywhere Legal money, dirty money. On the street, it's all fair Just what you're expecting, guys with suits and a briefcase The color of green reflecting in the glasses on their face Get your money makin' or get to fakin' Get yourself to rakin' in that funky cash Body, brain or muscle, just make that funky cash Don't matter how you hustle -- money Get your money talkin' or get to walkin' It's the latest fashion, flash that funky cash Get your dollars flexin, flex that funky cash Don't matter how you're gettin' it -- money Gimme that funky cash From downtown to midtown, Wall Street to mean street Where cash is king, you flash your ring out the window of your limousine If you want your piece of the pie, it's waiting here for you The only thing stopping you is what you're willing to go through Yo, yo, yo this is New York. 1986 Get your money talkin' or get to walkin' It's the latest fashion, flash that funky cash Get your dollars flexin, flex that funky cash Don't matter how you're gettin' it -- money Get your money makin' or get to fakin' Get yourself to rakin' in that funky cash Body, brain or muscle, just make that funky cash Don't matter how you hustle -- money Gimme that funky cash Hey man, come back with my money -- money Yo man, this ain't right. This ain't right I got my money off the street. You got your money in back Gimme that funky cash -- money

This house is so peculiar and the air is cold and wet When I arrived I was alive, but the room felt so dead He stands there. The ghost in the room I asked him who he was, not with my voice, but with my eyes He showed me the scars and then I knew I was the ghost in the room I am him. The man in the room I stand there. The ghost in the room (room) The ghost in the room I can't ever leave the six walls surrounding this room I'll always be here, it's my home, evermore my spirit's tomb (room) The man in the room. The ghost in the room (room) (room) The ghost in the room (room)

Crimes 04:31
Now Adrian, this time you've lost it in your head again And believe it. You won't get away with it again She wants, wants to trust you So she can live in your world again On the edge, your eyes and your mind See her as the cause of your crime... somewhere You see her as the one who made you kill your only chance But she was only circumstance She wants, wants to trust you So she can live in your world again On the edge, your eyes and your mind See her as the cause of your crime Somewhere deep inside you She still lives just like she used to At the end and almost out of your mind She was never the cause of your crime Now Adrian, whatever you do will come back to you She'll believe you if you block the voices that are haunting you She wants, wants to trust you So she can live in your world again On the edge, your eyes and your mind See her as the cause of your crime Somewhere deep inside you She still lives just like she used to At the end and almost out of your mind She was never the cause of your crime

Going back to the islands Sunshine. Cool water breeze For real, man I'm in the breeze of the tropicana when a lady from Indiana said I'd like to sit now, can I? She's working on her suntan Hey there, could you put on my lotion? Then after that, do you wanna sail in the ocean? A treasure is waiting for you on my ship Bring all your stuff, don't forget your wallet So, we sail away from the isles Lost over many miles No palm trees. No coconut trees No sandy beach. Nothing that I could see She looked at me and then told me Take off your clothes and give me Everything else, your wallet and your bag Then walk the plank, you can swim right back I said "But I'm naked, can I have my shorts"? No, get some at the port Swimming back, I was chased by a shark But I swam so fast, the shark gave up She raised her flag on the ship Skull and crossbones, yep you guessed it Aw, the lady's a pirate! Well she was a pirate, not from Indiana She laughed on the deck while she ate a banana It's a shame cause she was a cutie I never got to check out the pirate's booty Her booty of cash, bags, wallets and stuff Not the kind of booty that you're thinking of Get your mind back into the song And out of the gutter, there's more to the story So I'm back on the island, eating pineapple When all of a sudden, I hear a crackle Adrian Star The pirate lady came back on her ship She jumped off the dock with my stuff on her hip Then gave me my bag, wallet, and money And said "Here, you can have my booty" She said she was heading for Thailand And leaving Pirate Lady Island Pirate Lady Island (x7)
